My life journey began in Jakarta, Indonesia, and continued in a small village near Rotterdam, Netherlands. But wanderlust soon took hold, leading me to explore the world on my own terms.
I studied Journalism & Communication, and my love for storytelling fueled my career. I traveled the globe for almost four years without spending a dime (also chronicled in my bestselling book “Letmestayforaday“), wrote syndicated travel columns for international newspapers, and even hosted a travel show on Dutch Radio 1! My passion for storytelling shines through in my travel articles published in renowned publications like The British Sunday Times Travel Magazine and Travel Channel’s WorldHum.
Beyond writing, my entrepreneurial spirit has taken me down diverse paths. I’ve run a pub, managed art-house cinemas in Cambodia, upgraded hotels and restaurants in Sri Lanka, and currently guide adventurers on expeditions to conquer Kilimanjaro. My goal has always been to create unique and memorable experiences for others.
